Biography of Wang Wenguang

Master Wenguang Wang, born in Qingdao, Shandong, has been practicing martial arts since childhood. Among others, he learned from 30th generation Shaolin Grandmaster Shu Lin and 9th degree Grandmaster Zhou Yongfu (who was coach of the Shandong wushu team in the 1970s). He is master of several styles, including Seven Star Praying Mantis, several styles of Taiji, and Liu He Ba Fa Xin Yi Quan, and he is an accomplished master in Taiji push hands. He is a nationally certified wushu judge in China and was previously President of the Qingdao Taijiquan Federation. He has been successful in national and international competitions, including seven gold medals in three major U.S. tournaments from 2000 to 2002.
